EPHEMERA - an exhibition of contemporary art
OPEN CALL
The Concept
What does it mean for art to be temporary? Ephemera invites artists to explore the beauty of "things that exist, are used, or are enjoyed for only a short time." In a world often obsessed with permanence, this exhibition celebrates the transient, the decaying, and the fragile.
We are seeking works that embody:
Time-Based Narrative: Works that capture a singular, fleeting moment or have a defined lifespan;
Materiality: Art created from natural or "found" elements—flowers, leaves, ice, natural pigments, or even litter; or
Process & Decay: Pieces designed to change, fade, or decompose over the duration of the show.
